  • Astra 100g
  • Chilli powder 5g
  • Turmeric 5g
  • Curry powder 3g
  • Green Chili x 2
  • Garlic x 3 cloves
  • Red onion x 3
  • Coconut milk packet x 1
  • Mustered Seeds
  • Rampe leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • B onion x 2
  • Dry chili x 3

How To Make

  • Boil 1 Cup of Dhal, 1 Tsp of Chilli Powder, 1/2 Tsp of Turmeric Powder, 1 Tsp of Salt, 1 Tsp of Curry Powder, 1 sliced Green Chilli, 3 sliced Garlic 3 Cloves, 3 diced Red Onions in Water 1 1/2 Cups using a clay pot.
  • Add 1/2 Cup of Coconut Milk (First Squeeze) and let it simmer
  • On a separate pan, heat 1 Tbsp of Astra and fry the Mustard Seeds, Curry Leaves, Rampe Leaves. To this, add the chopped Onion and mix. Finally, add 2 - 3 Dried Chillies (soaked in salt water and chopped) and mix.
  • Add the tempered spice mix to the dhal and mix well
  • Top with a pinch of roasted Curry Powder and serve
